2019 brought us the tenth year of Scotland Loves Anime and also its most successful festival to date, with a record number of attendees and a stellar line-up of the greatest in new Japanese animation.
From smash hits like Makoto Shinkai’s Weathering With You and Studio Trigger’s Promare through to beautiful, artistic works like Children of the Sea or family-friendly offerings such as Birthday Wonderland, the festival once again delivered something for everyone and wowed crowds of every age and background.Â
With so many amazing films on offer, we’re delighted to be able to bring our touring festival back to Belmont, with many of our 2019 highlights finding their way to a whole new audience for them to love and enjoy.
