WHERE/HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION
You may give us your information in order to book tickets, sign up to a newsletter, make a donation or communicate with us. When you book tickets via the site, we need to collect information about you to process the transaction and fulfil your order. This information may include, but is not limited to, details such as your name, your address, your email address and your credit card details. We use the information to process any transactions you undertake with us and for internal administration and analysis.

We work with a number of third parties to enable us to sell tickets, memberships and passes, to fundraise, and to analyse our sales and audiences. These include:
- SeatGeek – they require and store your information, and mailing preferences, to allow us to issue tickets, memberships and passes to customers
- PayPal – a third party payment method
- Capita 360 – a third party payment method
- Filemaker - a password protected staff-only database that stores information on guests at EIFF, Filmhouse and Belmont Filmhouse
- Peak Fifteen – they store information to allow us to register delegates during EIFF
- Direct Debit Solutions – a third party payment method
- BACS – a third party payment method
- The Audience Agency - We contribute anonymised and aggregated audience data to the Audience Finder Data Tools operated by the Audience Agency. This activity supports us in further understanding our audiences to help tailor and improve our marketing and communications. Additionally, this data forms part of a nationwide audience dataset used for policy research and academic purposes.
WHAT WILL WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

- Administer your ticket sale or donation, including processing gift aid.
- Keep a record of your relationship with us.
- Ensure we know how you prefer to be contacted.

- To tell you about changes in our services or new services, events and offers we think you’ll find of interest.
- As a charity we’d like to send you occasional updates on our charitable work and we may invite you to support some of our projects.
- To analyse your personal information to create a profile of your interests and preferences so that we can contact you with information relevant to you.
- Signing you up to mailing lists that you’ve opted in to.
- Provide information about partnerships with, and events at, other venues/organisations.
KEEPING YOUR INFORMATION SAFE
We take every precaution to protect your information. To this end, all personally identifiable information stored by us is kept on a server in a secure environment. Only employees and approved data processors we may appoint from time to time and who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information.
Regular security reviews are held by us to ensure that the site remains safe and secure for your protection.
